WHAT IS MICHE 5K?
Miche 5K is back for its second year—bigger and better with more grupos, more medals, and more micheladas! Enjoy a fun-filled morning of live music, local vendors, and good vibes, all while promoting fitness in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
WHAT TIME DOES THE RACE START?
Music, vendors and programming begin at 7 AM and the race begins at 8 AM sharp!
WHEN IS THE RACE?
The race will take place on the morning of June 8th, 2025 in the Pilsen neighborhood. The starting base for the run will be at Dvorak Park located at 1119 W. Cullerton St, Chicago IL 60608.
WHAT KIND OF MICHELADAS WILL YOU HAVE?
Both our official Michelada Mix partners, Micheladas El Patrón and Mixhe Hotmix, will have original, mango and tamarindo micheladas / miche-nada available for purchase. Your free miche will be original (and delicious!).
WHERE CAN I FIND THE MICHE 5K COURSE MAP?
The course downloadable is located on our website, under the the “Course” tab on the navigation and on our Instagram.
WILL I BE ABLE TO CHECK MY GEAR RACE DAY?
No, gear check will not be available to participants. Runners are responsible for safely storing their gear prior to the race.
CAN ANYONE SIGN UP?
Yes! The race is open to participants of skill levels, ages and backgrounds.
CAN I SHOW UP EVEN IF I DON’T REGISTER?
Yes! The race grounds are open spectators as well as race participants.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registrations are completely sold out. We hope to see you there in 2026!
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER ONLINE?
Yes, 100% of our registrations is done online.
DOES EVERY PARTICIPANT NEED TO REGISTER?
Yes, all participants will need to have an official registration to be on the course and receive a medal, bib, and shirt.
WHAT DO I GET WHEN I REGISTER?
✪ Exclusive Miche 5K event shirt
✪ Official Miche 5K bib
✪ Miche 5K finisher’s medal
✪ One voucher for a michelada or a miche-nada (non-alcoholic option)
Note: You will need your ID for an alcoholic michelada. Thank you!
CAN I REGISTER FOR THE EVENT ON RACE DAY?
No, there will not be same day registration.
CAN I WALK THE 5K?
Yes! This is a WALK/RUN 5K.
ARE PETS ALLOWED TO RUN THE COURSE?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to run the course however they are allowed as “spectators” at the Dvorak Park grounds.
I SIGNED UP BUT AM NO LONGER ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO ANOTHER PERSON OR MOVE IT TO NEXT YEAR?
No. Transfers are not allowed.
WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL IS THE OFFICIAL SHIRT MADE OF?
A shirt with moisture-wicking fabric.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE SHIRT, BIB AND MEDAL?
Participants will pick up their shirts and packets (excluding medals) at packet on pick-up date. See here for full information.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
Unfortunately, all sales for the Miche 5K are final.
WAIVERS
Am I required to sign a waiver form?
Yes. Upon checking out when you purchase your bib you will be prompted to verify that you have read our official waiver.
TIMING AND RESULTS
