Race-Day Basics

  • El Paso, it’s time! Miche 5K is here for the first time with miles, grupos, medals, and a michelada (or miche-nada) waiting for you at the finish. Come through for the music and the celebration after you cross the line!

  • The Miche 5K race is Sunday, May 3 at Ascarate Park in El Paso.

  • Arrive early. DJ, vendors, and all the pre-race vibes start at 7:00 AM. The race begins at 8:00 AM sharp, then we keep la fiesta going until 11:00 AM.

    • You will need your ID for an alcoholic michelada.

    Note: To receive a finisher medal, you must complete the race.

  • More info is coming soon. Shirts and bibs will be available at packet pickup in April (dates to be announced).

  • No, same-day registration will not be available.

  • Yes! The race grounds are open to spectators too!

  • Unfortunately, all Miche 5K El Paso sales are final and non-refundable.

Course Info

  • The course map will be available soon, including a full downloadable version.

  • No, gear check will not be available to participants. Runners are responsible for safely storing their gear prior to the race.

  • Yes! Strollers are welcome on the course, but we ask anyone running or walking with a stroller to start in the last corral for everyone’s safety.

  • No, pets aren’t allowed on the course. But they are welcome on the Ascarate Park grounds as long as they’re on a leash.

  • Yes. All participants will receive a timed bib, and your time will be automatically recorded when you cross the finish line. We’ll share the results link before and after race day.
